About Melbado

Learn how Melbado creates practical leadership guides, interactive self-assessments, and the Leadership in 10 newsletter concept.

Melbado is an independent leadership-learning publication built around short, practical ideas and interactive self-assessments. Our goal is to help people examine how they lead, choose one behavior to improve, and keep learning without turning leadership into empty inspiration.

What we publish

  • Leadership in 10: a free newsletter built around ten useful, snackable leadership takeaways.
  • Interactive assessments: reflection tools that turn broad leadership skills into observable behaviors, dimension scores, and practical next actions.
  • Evidence-informed guides: articles about leadership styles, workplace behavior, business fundamentals, and lessons from public leaders.

How the assessments work

Each assessment asks ten behavior-focused questions and produces an overall reflection score plus dimension-level feedback. Results are intended for learning and conversation. They are not psychological diagnoses, hiring instruments, or validated predictions of job performance.

Where an assessment draws on a research model, the relevant source is linked on the page. The questions and scoring are original educational interpretations unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Our editorial approach

We aim to make pages answer-first, useful, and transparent about uncertainty. Historical and public-leader articles should distinguish documented events from interpretation. Leadership frameworks should explain limitations and context rather than presenting one style as universally superior.

We regularly review important pages, strengthen their sourcing, and revise material that is unclear, outdated, or insufficiently supported.

About Leadership in 10

Leadership in 10 is designed as a short weekly read: ten ideas found across leadership research, thoughtful articles, and real workplace practice, summarised into practical takeaways.

Who is behind Melbado?

Melbado is an independently built and maintained publication. It does not claim clinical, legal, financial, or human-resources authority. Important workplace decisions should use appropriate professional advice and evidence beyond a self-assessment result.
