What Should a Business Vision Include?

A business vision is a statement that defines what an organization wants to achieve in the future. It is a long-term goal that provides guidance and inspiration for decision-making. The three parts of a vision statement are:

1. Future aspirations of the company: It should be forward-looking, inspirational, and motivating, and should represent the culture and core values of the company.
2. Benefits and improvements that the company hopes to achieve in the long term: This is what the company hopes to accomplish by pursuing its vision.
3. The culture and core values of the company: This is what drives the company and what it stands for. These should be reflected in the vision statement.

In other words, a vision is a picture of the future that is inspiring and motivating. It is a change in values that guides action and provides a sense of direction. A map helps individuals and organizations navigate their way to the vision, while a challenge encourages people to stretch themselves and reach for something greater.
